Whispering Pines Christian Camp

whispering pine logoThere are sixty beautiful acres secluded on Old Hickory Lake. The James E. Neal Lodge has 8,500 square feet and has a commercial kitchen completely stocked. Near by the James E. Neal Lodge is the secluded Leslie Duke Memorial Gazebo. This is an excellent place for meditation and provides a breath taking environment for groups to study in that natural beauty of the Whispering Pines area. The Christian Manor Pavilion is another good place for group meetings. A bunkhouse is located very close to the lodge and sleeps 28 (bunk beds). This bunkhouse can be used for boys or girls. It has heating and air conditioning. For additional sleeping capacity, the camp has five rustic cabins. Our camp swimming pool is open the first of June through August. The camp is located east toward Hartsville, TN off Highway 25, near the Castalin Springs community. It is approximately a 40-minute drive to camp from Hendersonville. If you would like to make an appointment with our caretaker, Alan Blackwell, to tour the camp, please call him in the evenings or weekends at 615.230.5712. If you would like to reserve the camp, please call the church office at 615.824.6622.
